Virtual Leading Cast Auditions - Ballet/Pointe

Dancers auditioning for Lead Roles virtually for the 2026 production of Houston's Urban Nutcracker.

Process and Important Dates for Virtual Auditions:

-The deadline to register and submit videos is July 31st at 11:59pm

-As the dancers register, they will receive an empty Google Drive folder to upload their dance combinations to. 

-Dancer will need to submit a 3 minute solo in the style of Ballet/Pointe to the given folder. Video can be a performed or competed solo from the 2025-2026 season.

-Dancers will upload their videos to the provided Google Drive Folder.

-Deadline to upload videos will be July 31st at 11:59pm

-Dancers may be required to attend a Call Back Audition

Clare (Ballet/Pointe)

The Urban Nutcracker Prince (Ballet/Partnering)

The Bluebonnet Queen (Ballet/Pointe)

The Pecan Fairy (Ballet/Pointe)

The Caviler Prince (Ballet/Partnering)

Ballerina Doll (Ballet/Pointe)

Audition fee is a non-refundable/transferable donation to Culture Arts Initiative.
