2024 Leading Cast Auditions
Dancers auditioning for Lead Roles will have their auditions for the 2024 production of Houston's Urban Nutcracker on
August 4th, 2024
Your $50 Fee allows you to audition for any/all of the below roles. Please complete the follow up form during registration to inform us of what roles you will be auditioning for.

Time:
12:30pm - 2pm: Ballet Roles:
Clare, Urban Nutcracker Prince, Cavalier Prince, Bluebonnet Queen, Sugarplum Fairy, & Ballerina Doll
2:30pm - 4pm: Modern/Contemporary & Musical Theatre/Jazz Roles:
Mouse Queen, Rodeo Doll, Soldier Doll
*Schedule is subject to change based on enrollment
Additional Information:
-Please arrive 30 minutes before your audition to check in and warm up. There will not be a formal stretch/warm up before the audition start time.
-For the Pointe/Ballet roles; please wear tights and a leotard.
-For Modern/Contemporary and Jazz/Musical Theater roles; please wear form fitting dance wear. You may wear jazz shoes or be barefoot.
